The Great Easter Egg Hunt

LJ Hooker Ormeau invites all residents of Ormeau (and surrounding suburbs) to come along and search the parkland for tokens which will be exchanged for chocolate easter eggs. Free fun for all ages. Hug the Easter Bunny. This event includes a BBQ and drinks which are sold by local Not For Profit groups and helps to raise much needed funds.

Annual event - typically held the Sunday before Easter Sunday. (10am start)

Annual My Ormeau Car Rally

It's a good, old fashioned, fun day out for everyone. You pay a gold coin donation per vehicle. You get a set of clues. Answer the questions to win great prizes and trophies!

Your team then needs to drive from one clue to another (a set course around the quiet local roads of Ormeau and connecting suburbs) looking for the answer to each question. Kids get their own question sheets so they can join in too.

Each clue gets an allocated amount of points for a right answer. The couple, group, corporate team and family competitor with the most points wins a prize and trophy. There are heaps of wild draw trophies and prizes too for best dressed, coolest car, fun challenges and more.

Enjoy a BBQ lunch or other delicious snacks upon your return which is run by Ormeau Lions Club and other not for profit groups in the local area while you wait for scores to be tallied and prizes handed out.

Ormeau Christmas Light Competition

The Ormeau Christmas Light Competition is held annually showcasing the brightest and most festive homes in the Northern Gold Coast. Entry is free and entrants have the chance to win a share in up to $1,000. A full list of entrants are published on My Ormeau and available at LJ Hooker Ormeau so you can tour the area and take it all in first hand.

Voting is by a mix of judging panel and online.

Ormeau Carols By Candlelight

Highway Church Ormeau proudly present the annual Carols - an excellent way to join in the Christmas spirit, meet up with friends and families and sing your little heart out. This event usually includes free rides for the kids, food and drinks and entertainment.

Ormeau Business Breakfast

Monthly networking breakfast events are proudly run by LJ Hooker Ormeau as a way to help local businesses group together and utilise the services within the area. It is also a good way to get extra inspiration and direction making your business run at its peak. Everyone is welcome just remember to bring lots of business cards for networking purposes.

When: 3rd Tuesday every month - 7am - 8.30am (see events calendar to confirm dates)
Where: Norfolk Tavern, Pascoe Road Ormeau
What: Buffet breakfast, network with other business owners, guest speaker and door prizes
