We need your help!

My Ormeau is a website for locals and we rely heavily on local support. This initiative can only be a success if the community can easily rely on the information within - that includes trusting the businesses that are listed, having all events and news stem from reliable sources and remaining up to date.

Our aim is to do everything in our power to maintain the latest and greatest on all things Ormeau. To do that we need to know when upcoming events are on the horizon and about local news. Our news is not strictly limited to area and council updates, we love to include human interest stories also.

There are a few ways you can assist as an business:

- Promote My Ormeau to your customers
They will be pleased you let them know about such a useful resource plus by promoting My Ormeau, you are promoting your own company information, which is featured on the website. Guiding more traffic to the community website also makes it a convenient location to broadcast your upcoming events and later, special offers.

- Become a key sponsor
Business commitments as a My Ormeau Key Sponsor:

- Feature My Ormeau in promotional materials
- Add a link to My Ormeau on website (we will supply a 'proud supporter of My Ormeau link and logo image)
- Ensure all staff members and customers know about My Ormeau
- Display advertising signage for upcoming events (help spread the word)
- Distribute My Ormeau merchandise (if any is available)
- Take an active part in our community events including the annual Car Rally Fun Day (held the last Sunday in May each year) by either running a stall, donating a prize or lending a helping hand in event setup/organisation.
- Any other suggestions on how you can help are also appreciated

We realise that not every business is set up in such a way that they can assist in all of the ways above but the more you can do to help expose My Ormeau the more likely you are to gain a sponsor position. We do not currently charge anything for sponsorship and it does come with many benefits including high exposure within the My Ormeau website and associated projects and events. It is also a great way to indicate community support to your customers.

Key sponsors are renewed every six months which makes change-over September 1st and March 1st of each year. To show your interest please email info@myormeau.com.au and let us know what you can do to help My Ormeau and why you want to be considered as a Key Sponsor.

- Advertise
At a later date you will have the opportunity to select from various (although limited) advertising packages. The funds from these options will be returned to the website by adding more features and maintaining the existing features.

There are a few ways you can assist as an individual:

- Tell people about this website! Spreading the word is one of the best things we can do to create a successful community website. Besides, they will certainly appreciate the ability to find lots of information in one spot.

- Support the businesses that support My Ormeau. These businesses will be easy to spot and they are the ones with the communities best interests at heart. Make sure you tell them if you have discovered them via My Ormeau. It is nice to know how people find out you exist.

- Join in our competitions. Following the initial launch we will begin to run competitions to create some community involvement. Keep an eye out - they are sure to be lots of fun.
